Our shop minimum is $60 and then it goes up from there. To generalize the average price of our tattoos, I would say most people spend anywhere from $80-$120 on individual pieces. We are always willing to work with your budget.
You must be 18 years old without parental or legal guardian consent. If you’re under 18 and have a parent or legal guardian present you must be at least 16 to get a tattoo.
Unless your brother or sister has been appointed by a court as your legal guardian, then no. Sorry.
Well….yes…but you’ll have a forever work of art. Many say that it’s not as bad as they thought it would be. We’ll be happy to share our experiences and support you. Feel free to bring your friends and family in to support you as well.
We will touch up your new tattoo if it needs it for free within 4 months. We stress the importance of waiting 1 month to ensure it is completely healed. We also stress that a touch up is not normally necessary. Feel free to stop in the shop or send us a pic to get an artist’s opinion if you are unsure if you need one or not.
Yes! We love reviving old work with touch ups, reworks, and additions! Make sure to show your current tattoo to an Ink Ink lady for a price quote.
We value your time and your input so we schedule consultation time at the beginning of your tattoo appointment to draw up your design! We want to ensure you’re here with us to get your feed back and to give you our undivided attention.
We have a required $40 deposit system that will go towards your tattoo at your appointment time. Drop by or call over the phone to make your deposit. This is a non-refundable deposit that goes to save your artist’s time. The deposit may be moved if called 24 hours before your appointment time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
We HIGHLY suggest our Tattube. It’s locally made specifically for keeping tattoos healthy and bright and it can only be bought here or on our website.
Yes! What you see is the equivalent to what you would see on the cotton part of a bandaid. The great thing about Saniderm is that it allows the natural moisture of your skin’s healing process to stay in place which results in a quicker and cleaner healing process! Don’t worry, once it’s time to take off your Saniderm you’ll see your tattoo is still intact in all its awesomeness.
Use it until your tattoo feels like the rest of your skin and is no longer dry or flaky. This varies widely on the placement, and size of your tattoo. You can expect to use it for roughly 1-3 weeks.
Yes! And don’t touch it! Picking at any scabs can result in color loss. If you just can’t stop from scratching your itchy tattoo, then try rubbing or tapping it to subside the urge.

Tattoo Aftercare

Saniderm care instructions:

    • Leave your Saniderm on for 3-4 days.
    • You can shower, bathe, swim, sweat and wear all of your favorite clothes over Saniderm!
    • Remove it like a bandaid and wash it with an antibacterial soap. You will feel a sting similar to the sensation felt with band-aid removal. It won’t harm your tattoo.
    • Start applying your Tattube tattoo ointment immediately after.
    • Apply a thin layer of your Tattube tattoo ointment 2-3 times a day until your skin is no longer dry or flaky.
Without Saniderm care instructions:

  • To help protect your favorite light colored clothes and bedding from your fresh tattoo we will apply a light bandage.
  • Remove the bandage after 3-4 hours. If your tattoo is done close to bedtime, then wear your bandage overnight and remove first thing in the morning.
  • Wash your tattoo with an antibacterial soap and rinse thoroughly for the first 10 days.
  • Start applying your Tattube tattoo ointment immediately after washing.
  • Apply a thin layer of your Tattube tattoo ointment 2-3 times a day until your skin is no longer dry or flaky.
  • For 10 days, do not soak your tattoo. This requires staying out of lakes, baths and pools. Remember to avoid the sun and tanning beds for 10 days as well!

No appointment needed! All piercings are on a walk-in basis. If you have a piercer preference, you may call the shop to see when that piercer is available.
Mostly likely, no. All piercings will go through phases of discomfort, swelling, and/or discharge. These reactions are normal and rarely indicate an infection. In most cases, cleaning your piercing with antibacterial soap and water, piercing solution or a sea salt spray or soak will help clear up any issue you might be experiencing. If symptoms worsen or continue, pop in the shop and see one of our piercers. No doctors required!
At Ink Ink, most of our piercings will require a 6-12 week heal time before changing it. Some piercings will still need more heal time. Everyone heals at a different rate. If your piercing is still tender to the touch, don’t remove your jewelry. We offer free jewelry changes!
We use Metal Mafia surgical steel jewelry and Anatometal titanium. These metals do not cause nickel allergies to flair. We have latex-free gloves for the piercers to use during the piercing process if you have a latex allergy.
Keloids are bumps next to a piercing. Not all bumps next to a piercing are keloids. Most happen when a piercing gets hit or snagged. Generally, cleaning your piercing will help decrease this build up of fluids inside the bump, eliminating it. If that doesn’t help we have other methods of healing keloids or piercing bumps. You may contact Ink Ink before trying any keloid treatment. Do not use peroxide, facial scrubs or any harsh treatments.
Sometimes jewelry can become loose or fall out. It’s a common issue. If you can’t get the jewelry in yourself, our piercers can happily assist you. We do free jewelry changes. If you are unable to come in, put a regular earring in your piercing and we can replace your body jewelry. To avoid this, tighten your balls everyday.
Well…yes…but only for a split second. Then it’s all over! You may be surprised just how easy it is because we use a numbing ointment that numbs your piercing immediately after the initial poke. We’ll be happy to share our experiences with you. Feel free to bring your friends and family in to support you as well.
We no longer pierce babies. A child will not be forced to have piercings that is unable to ask themselves. Twelve years old for basic cartilage piercings with parental consent. Fourteen years old for most other piercings (advanced ear piercings, navel, nostril, lip) with parental consent. Seventeen years old for dermal piercings with parental consent. Eighteen for all piercings without parental consent and nipples and genital piercings.
Unless your brother or sister has been appointed by a court as your legal guardian, then no. Sorry.

      Piercing Aftercare

      • Use an alcohol-free mouthwash.
      • Do not use a mouthwash or toothpaste that contains bleach.
      • Rinse twice a day, after meals and after smoking.
      • For a lip piercing, you will use mouthwash to clean the inside of your mouth. Use an antibacterial soap to lightly clean and rinse around the outside. Refer to the non-oral piercing’s aftercare for more info on how to care for the outside of your new lip piercing.
      • Use piercing solution we sell at Ink Ink or an antibacterial soap.
      • When using antibacterial soap, lather up soap and water in clean hands, lightly clean around the piercing, and rinse thoroughly.
      • When you use a piercing solution, gently clean around the piercing with a solution-soaked cotton swab.
      • Do not pick at the cooties and crusts.
      • Do not spin jewelry or touch with dirty hands.
      • Leave your piercing alone and let it heal.
      • Always rinse your piercing after showering to remove soapy residue.
